Bycs (formerly known as CycleSpace) is an innovation agency that initiates and develops ideas that will accelerate the shift from car-centric to human centric cities worldwide.
Bycs conducted a research project to get a better understanding of the habits and attitudes towards cycling amongst the inhabitants of Amsterdam Bos & Lommer, to find the right hooks for project development in this area.
My responsibility within this project: analysis of the data and design of the presentation. I designed this model which encompasses all the various elements found during the research (based on the behavioral engagement model from social scientist David Maxfield). As a result of the 2 domains and 3 spheres, the model comprises 6 drivers of behavioral change. Future projects need to adress these in order to have long-lasting effects. Focussing on just one element (while others are neglected) will fall short.
